The Adult Autism Waiver (AAW) is a 1915(c) Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid waiver designed to provide long-term services and supports for community living, tailored to the specific needs of adults age 21 or older with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The program is designed to help adults with ASD participate in their communities in the ways they want to, based upon their identified needs.
As the Supports Coordinator Organization (SCO), our role is to ensure that each individual is receiving the appropriate services and supports to meet all identified needs. The SCO also helps the participant find and access services that they may need that are not part of the Adult Autism Waiver (AAW).
If you are ready to have a helping hand but are unsure of where to begin, our Care Reps can help you build a program that works for you and your unique needs. To schedule a teleconference or in-person consultation, please call or complete the form.
