Scheduler - (LT101)

The Staff Scheduler is responsible for establishing work schedules of personal care attendants to meet consumer service requirements. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for assigning work schedules to Agency model attendants, ensuring complete coverage of consumers’ needs.
• Responsible for replacing Personal Care Attendant staff for scheduled and unscheduled absences or time off.
• Responsible for the on-call Personal Care Attendant schedule.
• Responsible for satisfactorily participating in the office on-call rotation.
• Support ACP Supervisor in the supervision of PCA staff, reporting problems or concerns to the supervisor.
• Monitor PCAs’ need for and schedule skills training to meet program and CRI requirements
• Develop and maintain a professional and friendly working relationship with PCA and other staff, fostering a positive work environment and employee morale.
• Prepare billing and payroll input worksheets on a timely basis as per requirements.
• Inform the Supervisor or appropriate Service Coordinator of issues relating to their staff or consumers.
• Prepare and maintain required records, reports, and information.

Requirements include:
• This is a part-time position of approximately 20-30 hours per week as scheduled by the ACP supervisor.  Scheduling flexibility is required.
• Ability to use a computer and scheduling software, Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and email systems effectively in the performance of the job.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, by written medium. Must have ability to read and write effectively in the performance of the job.

• Must have a high-school diploma or equivalent, be 18 years of age or older, and legally able to work in the United States.
• This position participates in a weekend/evening on-call rotation, which requires carrying a cell phone or pager.
• Satisfactory Act 33, 34 Clearances and ability to be covered on CRI liability insurance.
• A satisfactory driver’s record, valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle availability.
• Ability to perform responsibilities in a safe and effective manner, including following the CRI No Manual Lift Policy.
