Fiscal Secretary - (E303)
The Fiscal Secretary is responsible for providing day-to-day secretarial support to the Controller and Fiscal staff in an accurate manner on a timely basis. The Fiscal Secretary's duties are directed by the Controller. Work is produced in the format established by CRI.
1. Complete general secretarial duties as assigned or as needed.
2. Answer, direct, and log incoming calls to the Fiscal Department.
3. Track and trend service issues and the resolution thereof.
4. Work as liaison between the Controller and CRI staff members when Controller is out of the office.
5. Coordinate Controller’s daily schedule and keep personal calendar on Controller’s schedule.
6. Set up and maintain the Controller’s files in an orderly and current fashion.
7. Ordering consumable supplies and office equipment per approval.
8. Copying needed materials for distribution.
9. Type and process correspondence as directed by the Controller.
10. Provide backup support for the Administrative Secretary and Receptionist when necessary.
11. Process incoming mail.
12. All other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements include:
- 1. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with minimum of two years experience in a secretarial position, preferably in a financial or accounting setting.
- 2. Demonstrable customer service skills, including telephone-based service, required.
- 3. Must be proficient in the use of computer programs, including computerized ledger system, database systems, spreadsheets, and word processing, typing of at least 55 wpm.
- 4. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills, multitasking skills, communication skills, and attention to detail.
- 5. Must pass Act 33 and 34 clearances and other CRI-required background checks as necessary.
- 6. Must have the ability to operate equipment including copiers, personal computers, telephone, fax machine and postage meter.
- 7. Must have the ability to perform tasks in an effective and safe manner.
